The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, attended the event marking the 30th anniversary of the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies.
In his welcoming remarks, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs underscored the significance of the Marshall Center's programs. Aleksandre Darakhvelidze noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia welcomes and supports the enhancement of qualifications among its employees on security issues.
Aleksandre Darakhvelidze reviewed Georgia's progress in the European integration process, addressing the reforms and initiatives carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in this direction.
At the end of his speech, the Deputy Minister reiterated appreciation to international partners and expressed hope for robust collaboration in the future.
The event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Center was also attended by the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Georgia, Lela Chikovani, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Lasha Darsalia, the Ambassador of the United States of America to Georgia, Robin L. Dunnigan, and the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Georgia, Peter Fischer.
