The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Giorgi Butkhuzi, held a meeting with the Managing Director of the Common Security and Defence Policy and Crisis Response - Pawel Herczynski, the Head of European Union Military Staff (EUMS) and Director of Military Planning and Conduct Capability - Herv Bljean of the European External Action Service, as well as the representatives of the EU Delegation to Georgian and the European External Action Service.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the cooperation between the EU and Georgia in the field of Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP), as well as the perspectives of further enhancing cooperation in the field.
Giorgi Butkhuzi highlighted the significant role and importance of the EU Monitoring Mission (EUMM) at the Administrative Boundary Line, as well as the activities undertaken the by the EUMM.
The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs expressed gratitude to European partners for their support and reiterated readiness to further enhance cooperation with the EU in the field of security.
