Mr. Davit Vardiashvili, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs attended the closing ceremony of the Road Safety Week organized in Batumi by the MIA Service Agency and the sports club MIA FORCE within the frames of the Traffic Safety program.
The Deputy Minister visited Adjara Service of the Service Agency and received detailed information about the activities carried out by the Agency in Batumi during the whole week. Mr. Dato Nikoleishvili, the Director of the Service Agency guided Mr. Davit Vardiashvili during his tour around the building of the Agency and acknowledged the regional development plans.
The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs also attended the summarizing informative lecture given by the face of the Road safety Campaign Mr. Data Kajaia, the MIA Force racer for the active participants of the Week.
At the end, Mr. David Vardiashvili talked about the importance of the Traffic Safety campaign, awarded the Week participant children memorable diplomas and left his signature together with the minors on the special stand - "We Follow Traffic Rules".
On the Week closing day the young participants painted the logo of the MIA Road Safety campaign “For Your Sake, For You Safety” – the heart covered with the road signs in front of the Alphabet Tower in Batumi.
The Service Agency of the MIA launched the Road Safety Week on July 2. The campaign offered various events every day within its frames. The mentioned program is planned to be held in different regions in the future.
