The Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Georgia, Ihor Dolhov.
During the meeting with the Ambassador, Vakhtang Gomelauri stressed the existing close and friendly relations with Ukraine, being a strategic partner of Georgia, and underlined the importance of cooperation in the field of combating organized crime between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries.
The Minister particularly emphasized the deepening of relations between the parties in bilateral and regional formats.
Vakhtang Gomelauri expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for the official letter of congratulations of his Ukrainian counterpart and confirmed his readiness on organizing a visit in the nearest future.
