In front of the so called “Moduli” building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 181 recruits have participated in oath taking ceremony. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze. Recruits sang the national anthem, marched and demonstrated their combating skills. After the ceremony was over they were blessed by father Davit.
Recruits will undergo their obligatory military service at MIA Strategic Objects Protection Department. They will study military subjects, will be provided with free medical service, free nourishment and participated in local sport contests. During obligatory military service recruits will work in shifts that will last for 24 hours and have a rest for two days afterwards. Servicemen will also have short-term vacation. After the completion of obligatory military service will have an opportunity to be employed at various MIA units in case of passing the relevant contest successfully.
