At MIA Police Academy, Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze held meeting with students from Samtskhe-Javakheti State University as well as pupils from “Tsodna” college, public schools located in Kvemo Kartli region as well as representatives from Marneuli youth center.
The meeting was held in Q&A format. Minister provided answers to all questions and acquainted guests with study process at the academy as well as with implemented and ongoing projects of the Ministry, including anti-drug campaign. At the meeting sides also discussed the importance of employment of ethnic minorities in law enforcement agencies. Tt the meeting several guests expressed their eagerness to study at Police Academy.
Within the frames of the meeting Academy representatives made presentation regarding Academy, after which students and school pupils visited mock jury court and border checkpoint, swimming pool, shooting range and library as well as academy infrastructure.
