Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri held meeting with representatives of Federal Bureau of Investigation -Damian Bricko and Kathy Canning.
At the meeting sides discussed fields of cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Federal Bureau of Investigation of the United States, achieved progress and future plans.
At the meeting projects implemented with the support of the US government were outlined as well as importance of further support of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and experience sharing. Sides also discussed trainings organized by the strategic partners and training visits held on the topic of trans-border crime, terrorism, cybercrime and cyber terrorism, fight against trafficking and other priority directions.
At the end of the meeting sides underlined the need to intensify cooperation for the future as well as necessity of implementing joint projects which will be result-oriented fruitful and successful.
