“The Agreement between Georgia and the Kingdom of Spain on the Mutual Recognition and Exchange of National Driving Permits” will enter into force on September 29 of the current year.

After the entry into force of the Agreement, holders of a valid driver's permit issued by the parties will be able to obtain a driver's license of equal strength in the state of their legal residence without passing a theory or practical test.
he Agreement defines the classes of driving permits that will be subject to exchange after the Agreement enters into force, namely the exchange of AM, A1, A2, A, B, B+E driving licenses will be possible without passing theoretical or practical test, and as for the C1, C1+E, C, C+E, D1, D1+E, D and D+E driving permits, applicants will have to pass a driving test on roads open to general traffic, using a vehicle or set of vehicles the driving of which is authorized by said permits.
"The Agreement between Georgia and the Kingdom of Spain on the Mutual Recognition and Exchange of National Driving Permits” was signed in April of the current year, within the framework of the official visit of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri to the Kingdom of Spain.
