Within the frames of the official visit, Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Giorgi Mgebrishvili met with head of State Border Guard Service of Azerbaijan Elchin Guliev.
At the meeting Giorgi Mgebrishvili outlined that regional peace and stability is essential to the protection of borders.
The sides underlined that the two countries' close cooperation in the field of border security will contribute to regional safety, fight against the international organized crime and the effective fight against terrorism.
Giorgi Mgebrishvili and Elchin Guliev agreed that in the near future the two countries' border agencies will be further improved and offer better service to the citizens.
