Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Geka Geladze met with Hungarian Colleague Sandor Pinter

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Geka Geladze is paying an official visit to Hungary. As a part of a visit Minister held a bilateral meeting with his Hungarian counterpart - Sandor Pinter.
The parties discussed effective and fruitful cooperation existing between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries. The importance of further expanding the existing close partnership in various directions was also highlighted.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia noted that Georgia expresses readiness to actively continue working with Hungarian colleagues to make existing cooperation mechanisms even more flexible and efficient.
The parties also expressed their readiness to implement relevant measures in order to facilitate sharing experience and best practices between the agencies.
At the end of the meeting, Geka Geladze thanked Sandor Pinter for the fruitful cooperation and extended his invitation for a reciprocal visit to Georgia.
Official visit of the Minister of Internal Affairs to Hungary is conducted within the framework of the Georgia-Hungary Intergovernmental Summit. The members of the Cabinets of Ministers of the two countries will participate in the second session of the Intergovernmental Summit, co-chaired by the Prime Ministers of Georgia and Hungary.
