The officers investigation unit of Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Konstantine L. (DoB 1991) for causing intentional damage to health and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm.
Investigation established that Konstantine L. was involved in conflict with Giorgi J. (DoB 1969) and Nikoloz I. (DoB 1993) in the course of which he inflicted multiple injuries in leg areas to both of the above mentioned persons. Konstantine L. attempted to leave the place of incident when he was arrested by the Patrol Police officers. Giorgi J. and Nikoloz I. were transferred to the hospital and at this moment their lives are not in danger.
The weapon of crime was seized by the police as evidence. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of causing intentional damage to health and illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearm, article 177, VII part and article 236, I and II parts of the Criminal Code.
