Residents of Samtskhe-Javakheti voluntarily handed over firearms and armament to Samtskhe-Javakheti Regional Police Main Division of MIA. Citizens handed over the following arms and ammunition: 12 cut-guns, 2 hand made automatic weapons, various types of 100 hand-grenades, various types of bullets, 10 magazines, 19 anti-tank grenades and various armament.
Citizens handed over: 5642 bullets aimed for various types of automatic weapon, 10 magazines, various types of 100 grenades, 12 cut-guns, 2 hand madeautomatic weapons. 19 anti-tank grenades, 8 detonators and 1,5 kg of trotyl.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
