As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested a citizen of the Russian Federation - D.K. (DoB 1995), on charges of damaging other’s property.
The committed crime envisions up to 3 years in prison.
The investigation established that the defendant, whose face was covered with a special mask, damaged a vehicle registered of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on March 28 of the current year on purpose during a rally on Rustaveli Avenue and fled the scene.
As a result of immediate investigative measures, law enforcement officers identified the defendant and arrested him in Tbilisi.
The investigation is in progress under Article 187, part I of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
