The officers of Kutaisi Police Division of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Department as a result of immediate operative-search and investigative activities detained G.T.(DoV 1989) in Kutaisi for armed robbery and illegal carrying of a firearm.
The committed crime envisions from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that on January 30th detainee appropriated cash in the amount of 300 GEL from the drug store worker under the pressure of pistol and fled from the place of crime.
Law enforcers managed to detain the accused person several hours later after the crime took place. During the personal search of the detainee police seized the weapon of crime and illegally appropriated cash as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed robbery and illegal carrying of the firearm, article 179, part I and article 236, part IV envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
