Officers of the Kobuleti District Division of the Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-investigative measures, detained G.G. – date of birth 1984 on charges of intentional grievous bodily injury.
The sentence for the offense envisages the term of imprisonment from 3 to 6 years.
The investigation established that the accused, being under the influence of alcohol, during a confrontation, wounded with cold steel his acquaintance - B.M., date of birth: 1996 -also being under the influence of alcohol and fled the scene. The wounded man received appropriate medical care.
Police arrested the accused in Kobuleti a few hours after the incident.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of intentional serious damage to health under the first part of the article 117 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
