Non-governmental organization “Let’s Be Friends” along with Georgian-American University has held training for Patrol Police officers on how to treat and act with blind of vision impaired people.
At the training Patrol Police officers got familiarized with problems of blind and vision impaired people in Georgia as well as abroad. During the theoretical part of the trainings representatives of the mentioned non-governmental organization and University volunteers discussed various aspects of the mentioned problem. Practical part of the training included simulation during which patrol officers tested special appliances for blind and vision impaired people.
Non-governmental organization “Let’s Be Friends” is holding trainings on problems of blind and vision impaired people on the regular basis.
After the end of the course patrol police officers were handed relevant certificates.
