As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Mtskheta Police District Division under Mtskheta-Mtianeti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the conducted operational measures and investigative actions, arrested a British citizen, D.H., born in 1988, on the fact of illegal purchase, storage and cultivation of a large amount of narcotics.
The committed crimes envision the imprisonment from 4 to 11 years.
During the personal search and search activities held in residential home of the person arrested on charges of drug crimes, law enforcement officers seized a large amount of narcotics prepared for sale and an electric scale as evidence. In addition, 13 cannabis plants were seized from a greenhouse equipped for the cultivation of a plant containing narcotics.
The investigation is underway under Articles 260, 265 and 273 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
