As a result of immediate investigative actions, officers of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have detained two persons with previous convictions.
P.K., born in 1992, is charged with premeditated murder, While N.K., born in 1998, is charged with failure to report a crime.
The committed crimes envision up to 15 years in prison.
The investigation established that on April 20 of the current year, on the basis of a mutual dispute, the accused person inflicted multiple wounds to G.Kh., born in 1979, with a cold steel in various parts of the body and fled the scene.
As a result of the injuries sustained, G.Kh. died after being taken to the hospital.
As a result of immediate investigative actions, law enforcement officers arrested the accused person shortly after the crime was committed.
The investigation also established that N.K. witnessed the murder, however did not report the crime to the police.
The investigation is ongoing under Articles 108 and 376 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
