As a result of joint operational measures and investigative actions carried out at different times, officers of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Central Criminal Police Department arrested Kh.Kh., born in 1964, T.M., born in 1982, and A.N., born in 1985, with previous conviction, on charges of illegal cultivation of a plant containing narcotic substances in a particularly large amount, and purchase and storage of a large and particularly large amount of the narcotic substance “marijuana”.
The committed crimes envision up to 12 years of imprisonment.
Law enforcement officers seized a particularly large amount of the narcotic substance “dried marijuana” as evidence from the homes and specially arranged greenhouses of persons arrested on charges of drug-related crimes.
The investigation is underway under Articles 265 and 273 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
