At the meeting of the Incident Prevention and Reaction Mechanism the Georgian party protested against the illegal detention of the journalist of TV 3 in the vicinity of the village Adzvi on April 15 and urged the Russian occupational forces and Tskhinvali de facto government to refrain from such actions in the future.
The issue of arrest of the citizens of Georgia, including the arrest and detention of Roman Shitikov currently placed in the prison of occupied Tskhinvali was also discussed at the meeting. The representatives of occupied Tskhinvali government did not admit the fact of imprisonment of Shitikov in Tskhinvali.
