Representative of MIA Informational-Analytical Department attended Incident Prevention and Reaction Mechanisms meeting which was held which was held under the chairmanship of Switzerland from the side of European Union Monitoring Mission and Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
At the meeting sides discussed incidents registered in recent period.
Representative of MIA Informational-Analytical Department presented materials confirming installation of barbed wires and fences in villages along the line of occupation and discussed problems caused to the local population due to the mentioned process.
Georgian side also reviewed the issue connected with patrolling in villages of Kere-Koshka section. Ministry of Internal Affairs stands on the position to do anything in order to maintain peace and stability along the line of occupation. At the meeting sides also discussed issue connected with prisoners held in penitentiary facilities on the territory controlled by the local government and in De facto Tskhinvali prisons as well. Next IPRM meeting will be held on February 27 of the current year.
