Mr. Giorgi Mghebrishvili, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia opened a new Drug Test Office in the city of Senaki. The Office is equipped with modern infrastructure and the newest technique and designated for identification of drugs and psychotropic substances in a human body by the latest drug tests.
In addition to a new drug test service, the group of criminalists will provide with dactyloscopic and habitoscopic expertise in Senaki. The representatives of the forensic service shall operatively compare and identify the fingerprints and photos in the database with the special systems connected to the unified network. Forensic group shall serve the local law enforcement units.
Within the frames of the visit to Samegrelo the Minister of Internal Affairs also opened a new police building for Chaladidi Police Unit of Khobi Regional Division. Police building of modern standards is equipped with the latest technique and equipment. Officers of the operative service of Chaladidi Police Unit as well as the district inspectors and detective-investigators will work in the new building.
