The working visit of the Minister of Internal Affairs to the Republic of France and the Federal Republic of Germany is concluded.
Within the frames of the visit Mr. Giorgi Mghebrishvili met Mr. Bernard Kazenev, the Interior Minister of France, Mr. Thomas de Maiziere, the German Federal Minister of Interior, the Interior Ministers of the Federal Lands of Germany – Bavaria, Rheinland-Pfalz, Lower Saxony and Northern Rhine-Westphalia, Mr. Stephan Mayer, the member of the German Bundestag and Spokesman for Home Affairs of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group, as well as the Heads of the Foreign, Security and Development Policy and European Policy Departments of the Federal Chancellor.
The main topics of the meetings were European integration of Georgia, the progress achieved in implementation of Visa Liberalization Action Plan, development of police cooperation between the law enforcement agencies and specific action plans on fight against illegal migration and organized crime.
