Minister of Internal Affairs, Giorgi Mgebrishvili visited border guards of V sector under the V division of the Border Police, at Khechinashvili University Clinic who were injured as a result of the accident and got familiarized with their health condition.
On September 25, Border Guards of V sector under the V division of the Border Police, namely Tamaz Beroshvili, Archil Ramishvili and Davit Berdzenishvili received different quality burns as a result of the explosion which supposedly was caused by the gas container ignition.
As a result of the tragic accident, the specialist of the second group of the Border Police - Senior Lieutenant Lasha Chubinidze was killed. Minister of Internal Affairs visited the family of the late border guard in Rustavi and expressed his condolences to the family.
