Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili who is paying an official visit, met the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
At the meeting Giorgi Mgebrishvili stressed the friendly relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan. Minister discussed the issue of the fight against the organized crime and terrorism. Minister of Internal Affairs also discussed regional security issues. At the end of the meeting parties reviewed plans of future cooperation and perspectives.
Today Giorgi Mgebrishvili along with members of delegation has laid a wreath on the tombs and paid tribute to the national heroes of Azerbaijan- Heydar Aliyev and his spouse Zafira Aliyeva. Minister also laid a wreath on the memorial of the “Eternal Fire” and “Shehids lane”.
