The Ministry of Internal Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science initiated and organized visit of the pupils of Batumi Public School N11 to the base of Adjara Special Tasks Division of the Special Tasks Department of the MIA Special and Emergency Measures Center within the framework of the informative-educational project “Maintenance of law and crime prevention program for public schools".
The pupils were informed about the theoretical and practical aspects of trainings: breaking barriers, wall climbing, martial techniques and shooting. The representatives of the I Special Tasks Division of the Special Tasks Department introduced to the pupils daily routine of the conscripts and showed them around their accommodation, classrooms, gymnasium, library and training area. The armored vehicles, various kind of weapons and equipment located at the base of the Division were especially exhibited for the pupils. The meeting was delivered in a Q&A format. The representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs provided comprehensive answers to the questions of the pupils.
Ministry of Internal Affairs has relaunched the informative-educational campaign aimed at enhancing the public awareness. Within the scope of this large-scale campaign, the informative-educational project is implemented at public schools of capital and regions as well.
