Ministry of Internal Affairs marks Policemen’s Day on May 30 in Batumi. At 14:00 pm. in Batumi Boulevard, near to the alphabet tower solemn ceremony will be held. Event will be attended by the Prime-Minister Irakli Gharibashvili, Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze, members of the Georgian government, Chairman of Georgian Parliament, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country and high-rank officials from partner countries’ law enforcing agencies.
Prime-Minister Irakli Gharibashvili will deliver speech in front of police officers and congratulate them with the professional day. Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze will also congratulate MIA employees with the professional day and award active and veteran police officers.
After the completion of the official part of the event, Prime –Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs will view exhibition along with other guests, where auto park, technic, firearms and ammunition of various police units will be presented.
Other solemn activities will also be held in Batumi Boulevard. The event will be completed with the concert of “Newton” Band
