As a result of complex operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Khelvachauri Police Division of Adjara Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Customs Department of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance arrested Ukrainian citizen M.A., born in 1980, and Belarusian citizen K.H., born in 2000, on charges of attempting to illegally purchase a large amount of drugs in a group.

The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.

In order to expose them, law enforcement officers, as part of the implemented operational measures, carried out an undercover delivery of a handbag sent to them from abroad to Georgia, after which M.A. and K.H. were arrested in Tbilisi as defendants.
