Anti-drug campaign launched by the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues which was joined by the car racers. Head of LEPL Service Agency Zurab Zubadalashvili and sportsmen of “MIA Force” club: Data Kajaia, Konstantine Koliashvili, Irakli Chkheidze and other racers as well as vice-president of Georgian National Automobile Federation Mevlud Meladze held meeting with Tbilisi Open University students. At the meeting sportsmen discussed importance of health lifestyle and problems caused by the consumption of the so called “bio” drugs as well as anti-drug campaign. They explained to students that Ministry of Internal Affairs launched anti-drug campaign on March 24 the aim of which is to foil consumption of synthetic drugs. Slogan of the campaign is – “Changing Attitude Together”. Sportsmen also explained to the students that “New Psychoactive Substances” drafted by the initiative of the Ministry came into force from May 1. According to the mentioned law manufacture, produce, purchases, keeping, transportation, transfer or distribution, also illegal taking into or out of the territory of Georgia of a new psychoactive substances is prohibited and relevantly such actions will be the subject of criminal responsibility. By the end of the meeting sportsmen called on students to be actively involved in sport activities and abstain from drugs. Sportsmen also held demonstrative car racing for the students.
