Rescuers of Emergency Situations Management Agency as a result of the rescue operation have rendered help up 20 citizens in Mleta village.
During the celebration of Lomisoba pilgrims from different parts of Georgia were injured when they descended from the height due to bad weather and difficult terrain.
Rescuers helped pilgrims in descending the mountain, who had various types of injuries. Pilgrims received first aid on the ground and some of them were transferred to their vehicles by the ambulance cars. At this moment health condition of the affected people is satisfactory.
In order to prevent any accidents, 65 rescuers are deployed in Mleta village, in connection with Lomisoba celebration. They will stay at the place till the late night to render held those who need it.
