Within the frames of investigation on the case of vehicle explosion owned by citizen Givi Targamadze that took place on October 4 of the current year, team of investigators, in various parts of Tbilisi ,conducted search activities of the apartments and garages owned by persons linked to the mentioned case.
As a result of search activities law enforcers seized:
Printed literature and handwritten materials containing formulas for manufacturing explosives, materials needed for making explosives, electric cords and other details; plans and drawings of Givi Targamadzes work place and house, white colored powder- explosive substance hexogen, two packages full of trotyl, metal fragments, AK -47 automatic weapon with a silencer, AKC automatic weapon, optical target device, 6 hand grenades, 16 magazines, 20012 bullets, 16 missiles and other.
Within the frames of ongoing investigation law enforcers detained B.CH. (DoB 1974) under the article 236. In connection with the explosion of Givi Targamadze’s vehicle, D.KH. (DoB 1974) was charged in absentia for attempted murder under aggravated circumstances, article 19-109.
Investigation established that genetic samples taken from Givi Targamadze’s vehicle matched the samples of D.KH’s parents.
In order to identify and detain others involved in the mentioned crime, intensive operative-searching activities are underway.
