Late at night, on October 19 of the current year, unknown persons wounded four people with a firearm in vicinities of the election headquarters of the “Georgian Dream” political party, located in Kizilajlo village, Marneuli.
Wounded persons have been transported to the hospital by the ambulance crew. Their lives are not in danger. In connection with the mentioned, Ministry of Internal Affairs launched investigation on the fact of intentional infliction of grave injury, article 117 of the Criminal Code.
Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili arrived in the region soon after the incident and got familiarized with the details of the ongoing investigation and health condition of the wounded persons.
