The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vakhtang Gomelauri, held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Azizbek Ikramov, paying an official visit to Georgia.
The parties talked about cooperation existing between the two countries and discussed perspectives of future billiteral cooperation.
Vakhtang Gomelauri expressed hope that the information shared with the Uzbek colleagues regarding the ongoing and implemented reforms within the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia will be useful for them to improve their capacities.
Visit of the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Georgia will last for several days.
Within the framework of the official visit, guests will also visit the Patrol Police Department, Public Safety Command Center “112“, Unified Service Center of the Patrol Police Department, Service Agency, MIA Academy and Tbilisi Police Department, where they will get acquainted with the work specifics of the above-mentioned units.
