With the aim to ensure the enforcement of measures taken within the frames of the state of emergency, additional police checkpoints have been arranged at the entrances of Tsageri and Lentekhi.
Due to high epidemiological risk, in order to control the health of civilians and monitor their movement, the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the representatives of the Ministry of Defense will ensure the enforcement of the imposed strict regulations in a round-the-clock and provide preliminary screening of citizens.
At the police checkpoints citizens will undergo initial thermal screening.
Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will provide locals with comprehensive information regarding quarantine restrictions and provide assistance in case if needed.
All legal entities and physical persons on the territory of Georgia should obey restrictions imposed within the frames of the state of emergency. Violation of the emergency regime will result in administrative responsibility, while in case of the repeated violation of the imposed regulations, the violator will be brought to criminal justice.
