Central National Bureau of Interpol of Georgia has received official letter from Interpol Bureau of Tehran confirming that person accused of murdering Mariam Kochaladze-Ruintan Mohamadamin was detained. Ruintan Mohamadamin was enlisted in the data of the wanted persons after he was announced wanted by the National Central Bureau of Interpol of Georgia. According to the official letter from Tehran Bureau of Interpol Ruintan Mohamadamin hasn’t crossed the official state border of Iran after committing murder. Letter stated that detainee may have crossed the state border of Iran illegally and therefore, the case of Ruintan Mohamadamin was transferred to Gamishani police station (in accordance with his place of birth) for investigation and in order to conduct covert activities against him. According to the information from the local police, Ruintan Mohamadamin has also murdered a child. Iranian law enforcers detained Ruintan Mohamadamin few hours later after committing the crime and imprisoned him. National Central Bureau of Interpol of Georgia has announced Ruintan Mohamadamin wanted under the red notice on October 24, 2013. On December of the same year Ruintan Mohamadamin was found guilty by Batumi Court in absentia and sentenced to a lifetime imprisonment for murdering Mariam Kochaladze.
