The structural units of the MIA Special and Emergency Measures Center namely, the personnel of the Special Tasks Department and the Strategic Facilities Protection Department along with their command staff are actively engaged in the cleanup, search and rescue, recovery and elimination of damage caused during the natural disaster in the Vere Gorge. They also organize and coordinate the work of volunteers.
The representatives of the MIA Special and Emergency Measures Center along with the other units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs currently continue their involvement at Svanidze Street and “Mziuri” park area.
