At Sighnagi police division of Kakheti Regional Main Division resident of Anaga village – Givi O. (DoB 1930) has voluntarily handed over unregistered firearms: two Makarov pistols, Stechkin pistol with a silencer, butt of a gun, 7 cartridges and 20 bullets. Expertise concluded that firearms and ammunition are suitable to shooting.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
