At rescue training and response base of MIA Emergency Situations Management Department the planning meeting was held regarding training-“Safe Caucasus 2014” which is planned to be held. The mentioned training will be held on Ialghuja polygon on September 5 aim of which is to coordinate activities in case of emergency situations between Azerbaijan and Georgian on the basis of memorandum of cooperation. Training also envisages joint activities of the Georgian side and British Petrolium as well as improving cooperation level in case of oil spill in water and on the soil.
In the mentioned training representatives of the Ministry of Interior of Georgia, Ministry of Health, Emergency Service of Azerbaijan, British Petroleum, BRIGGS company and “Energy Invest” will be involved.
At the meeting parties discussed scenario which will be applied during trainings as well as organizational and technical details connected with the upcoming training. Guests were able to view points where trainings will are supposed to take pace and solve various issues.
