NATO assessment mission conducted working meetings with the representative of MoIA in the framework of Planning and Review Process (PARP). Assessment mission was led by the NATO Director of Planning, Defense Policy and Planning Division Mr. Frank Boland.
Representatives of the International Relations Department, Coast Guard of Border Police, Border protection Department, International Border Cooperation office, Human Resource management, border Monitoring, Communication and Information system division and MoIA Academy were present from Georgian Side. Likewise, NATO assessment mission held bilateral meetings with the deputy minister of the Internal Affairs of Georgia, Mr. David Khutsishvili. Parties discussed the implementation plan of the substantial package; covered decisions adopted at NATO Wales Summit, and also reviewed planned and ongoing reforms at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
At the end of the meeting Planning and Review Process (PARP) and Annual National Program (ANP) progress were positively evaluated with regard to completion of obligation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
