Head of Central Criminal Police Department Ivane Papiashvili as well as leadership of the same Department- Levan Chikvaidze, Soso Martashvili and Police Attache to the Republic of Azerbaijan Hamlet Guseinov met their Azerbaijani colleagues.
Georgian delegation was hosted by Deputy Minister of Interior Vilaet Eivazov, head of Crime Detection Division Emin Shakinski and his deputy Arzu Dashdemirov, head of Main Division against the Fight with Trafficking Sharif Asadulaev, head of International Relations Division Abdul Zargarli and Police Attache to Georgia Imran Mustafaev.
At the meeting sides expressed readiness to deepen cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Georgia and Azerbaijan. At the meeting the need for the instant exchange of information was outlined in connection with trans-border crime and special emphasis was made on joint activities held against the organized crime.
