The representative of the UK College of Policing Mr. Anthony Owen paid a working visit to the Special Tasks Department of the MIA Special and Emergency Measures Center. He held a meeting with the Director of the Special Tasks Department of the MIA Special and Emergency Measures Center Merab Malania, Deputy Chief of Staff Tite Medzmariashvili and Head of International Relations and Legal Affairs Division of the MIA Special and Emergency Measures Center Administration Giorgi Katsitadze. During the meeting the sides discussed the future projects and cooperation plans and emphasized the significance of experience sharing in the field of Crowd Management and Public Order and Security. In the framework of the visit the representative of the UK College of Policing visited III Special Tasks Division of the Special Tasks Department of the MIA Special and Emergency Measures Center, attended the Crowd Management Training at the base of Division and got familiarized with the infrastructure and special equipment. At the end of the visit Mr. Owen attended Georgia-Scotland EURO 2016 championship qualifier match and was introduced to the practical aspects and methods of the Crowd Management, Public Order and Security operations of Georgian Law Enforcement employees at the sports events.
