The delegation from the MIA Border Police Department of the Republic of Moldova, led by the Head of the Border Police Department Dorin Puriche visited the MIA Border Police of Georgia. The Moldavian delegation was received by Major-General Zurab Gamezardashvili, Head of the MIA Border Police of Georgia. The Director of the MIA Patrol Police Department Davit Tsinaridze also attended the official meeting.
The sides made the presentations about their agencies and signed the 2016-2017 cooperation plan. The plan covers cooperation in the fields of border security, information exchange, training and re-training, as well as seminars, meeting and exercise courses for personnel qualification. The delegation of the MIA Border Police Department of the Republic of Moldova will leave Georgia today.
