Border Guards from the MIA Border Police Land Border Defense Department have completed a special border guard training course. The Head of the MIA Border Police Dato Nikoleishvili joined Rector of the MIA Academy Givi Mikanadze in a ceremony at the MIA Academy to mark the graduation.
The special educational programs for the border guards cover courses in general law, special border police law and practical training. A five-month special educational program includes a four-month theoretical and one month-practical exercises. Future border guards undergo practical training patrolling the state border.
The program aims at training new personnel for the Land Border Defence Department of the MIA Border Police with relevant basic knowledge and practical skills to control and secure Georgian State border efficiently.
