The officers of Border Police of MIA as a result of investigative activities detained the citizen of Republic of Armenia Alik. B (DoB 1988) for illegal crossing of State Border.
The investigation established that the detainee crossed the state border avoiding border-control checkpoint and customs and illegally brought firearms and cold steels on the territory of Georgia.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal crossing of state border and smuggling of firearms through the state border (Article 344 I part and Article 215 IV part of Criminal Code of Georgia).
