The Coast Guard Department of the MIA Border Police of Georgia carried out special operation and detained the crew of the "TARIK EMIR”, a dry-cargo ship sailing under the flag of Panama on the charge of violation of the rules of entering the occupied territories of Georgia. There were the captain, the citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Bagabar N and 10 crewmembers, 3 citizens of India, 2 - of the Ukraine, 3 - of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and 1 – of the Republic of Turkey, on the board.
Investigation is ongoing according to the Criminal Code of Georgia, Article 3221, part I.
