The officers of the Coast Guard Department and the Investigative-Operative Division of the Border Police of the MIA detained the Liberian-flagged tanker "POULOPOM" in Batumi sea port on the fact of violation of the rules of navigation. The captain of the ship was fined in the amount of 50 000 GEL in favor of the budget.
Proceedings against the captain of the ship – the citizen of the Hellenic Republic is launched on the fact of violation of navigation rules (the Article 1141, part I of the Administrative Violations Code). Investigation is conducted by the Investigative-Operative Division of the Border Police.
