The officers of the Investigative-Operative Main Division of the Border Police and officers of the Patrol Police Department of the MIA as a result of joint operative-searching activities detained Vladimir Ts. (D.o.B.: 1991), citizen of the republic of Moldova in Sadakhlo for illegal import of psychotropic substance in large quantity to Georgia.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 46 capsules containing 13,8 gr of psychotropic substance - pregabalin.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, storage and illegal import of psychotropic substance in large quantity to Georgia (article 261, sub clause “a” of the III part and article 263, I part of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
