The officers of Patrol Police Department of Achara Main Division under MIA received the certificates upon the completion of “Identifying Fraudelent Documents and Imposer Recognition” training course. Certificates Award Ceremony was attended by the head of Patrol Police Department David Tsinaridze and head of Achara Main division of Patrol Police Department Davit Mamulashvili. Four-day training was organized by the US Embassy to Georgia.
The training was conducted by special agent Jason Phistner and Special Affairs Investigator David Kajaia of the Bureau of Diplomatic Security.
The training was conducted at Sarpi Border Checkpoint. Up to 150 employees of Batumi International Airport, Batumi Port and Sarpi Border Checkpoint participated in the training. The course included theoretical, as well as practice parts. In the scope of the training course, Georgian law enforcers enhanced their qualification in identifying fraudulent documentations and imposter recognition.
