Leadership of firefighting division and division of rescue training and response division of MIA Emergency Situations Management Department managed to extinguish fire in the forest located in Kvareli region.
Operative Response Center 112 received report regarding the fire in vicinities of Chala Lake, Kvareli region. MIA rescues departed to the site as soon as the report was received. The fire was spread on 15-20 hectares of forest. Due to the rocky soil it was difficult for the technic to approach the site. At this moment rescues are trying to extinguish fire by means of helicopter of the Border Police. Separate sources of fire have already been extinguished.
Firefighting and rescue training and response divisions of MIA Emergency Situations Management Department are staying at the place and maintain control over the area.
