Within the frames of Eastern Partnership and in accordance with the decision of European Commission Delegation of the Ministry of Interior of Poland paid an official visit to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The meeting was attended by the head of International Relations Department Shalva Kvinikhidze. Meeting was also attended by representatives of Central Criminal Police Department, Reform and Development Agency and MIA Academy. Within the framework of the visit, Polish side will present the Eastern Partnership Police Cooperation Program The project is planned for 4 years and is coordinated by the Republic of Poland.
The Program aims to strengthen contacts between the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries and envisages strengthening of cooperation with the EU and among the Eastern Partnership countries, experience sharing and harmonization and standardization in the police field. Within the frames of the visit meetings are scheduled between high-officials and on the level of experts. The visit lasts till 3 July.
